The Fleet

Letters take many forms. Some of them float.

Every boat in the fleet is named like the opening of a letter, after a real creature with a name and a temperament — and each carries a signature object of her own. The fleet grows the way a correspondence grows: one letter at a time. For now, there is one.


Dear Romie

A tuxedo cat with the manners of a gentleman. Carries a single rose. Sails the Mekong and the Nam Khan — morning light, the long afternoon, or the last hour before dark.
